The Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter served over 3000 boys and girls aged newborn-18yrs in 2007. Women fleeing a dangerous situation often grab their children and run out the door in crisis. Children may arrive at the shelter without a change of clothes, school books or their most precious possessions.
Let children know the crisis is under control by providing them with essentials for daily life.
Essential Care Packages for babies in crisis include items based on each baby‘s need such as clothes, socks, diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, baby food, teething rings and a blanket.
