The Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter is pleased to be the recipient of some of the funds raised by the Big Rock Eddies each year.

If you ever want a chance to experience "Hollywood Glamour" without leaving Calgary, this is your opportunity! "The Calgary Eddies', sponsored by Big Rock Brewery is an annual event held to preview amateur beer commercials. Organized as a spoof on the Academy Awards, the evening provides for much entertainment, great food, and of course, beer. Big Rock generously donates part of the proceeds from the evening to the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter.

The 13th annual Calgary Eddies in 2007 took place June 04 at the Jack Singer Hall.
